The Baragana - Capacity and Resilience Circles
Circles of support have already improved the lives of many people. A circle of support is a group of people who come together regularly with a common purpose, who think and talk about, then agree and support actions that will further that purpose.
Baragana Capacity and Resilience Circles are a culturally appropriate framework established to support people to reduce anxiety and stress across individual, family and community life.
Established to become an ongoing locally owned mechanism for change, Baragana distinguish three circles that help people identify, talk about then practice supported behaviour change to reduce the influence of negative thoughts and actions across their lives and the lives of their family.
Culture Story Therapy is counselling support for individuals and/or groups delivered from the underlying belief that you are the expert in your own life. That your identity and connection to culture and community can provide benefits that span across your life and guide some of the fundamental principles, beliefs, assumptions and behaviours that influence your life.
As an in-community helping initiative, Culture Story Therapy is a guided framework which uses a set of practical tools to assist people and mentors in the community who want to help people in their community, in school or in a workplace.
Culture Story Therapy is an empowerment tool to help you find the words and tuition to help yourself or a person in need.
